Take a close look at some churches and what do you see? It seems like a club, a place for those who are already on the inside. Yeah, they say all the right things and they even believe all the things they are saying but the truth is your an outsider and when you attend their church you feel that way.
One of the values of Crossroads is "lost and unchurched people matter to God and therefore matter to the church."
When we thought about what we valued most as a church this was it. We truly had a heart for those who were outside the walls, for those who didn't feel like they could come and be apart.
Crossroads was birthed with those outside the church walls in mind, everything we do is for them. Every decision we make, every dollar we spend, every ounce of energy put forth is done with them in mind.
If this is where your heart is then this is probably a place that your gonna love.
If your looking for a place where you can sit and soak and not invest any of your time, talent or resources then Crossroads probably isn't your place.
